How To Remotely add a Printer to a User of a Computer

Remotely adding a printer in Active Directory in Real Time with aducADMIN+  aducADMIN+ allows you to find all the printers installed by all the users that have logged on to a computer. You can then add, change or remove printers in real-time. Printers added can be used immediately after you have installed them – eliminating the necessity to send someone to your end users to install a printer. You can also save the printer information of a computer to a file for later consultation. To  install a printer for an end user remotely – simply follow these steps:

  1. Browse to the Organizational Unit wherein the computer resides the user is logged on to and right click.
  2. Choose ‘Connect\Add a Printer to a User of a Computer’
  3. Enter the name of the computer.
  4. Right click on the user in the left listview.
  5. Choose ‘Add Network Printer’.


  1. Select the computer object of the computer the user is logged on to and right click.
  2. Choose ‘Connect\Get Users and Printers’.
  3. Right click on the user in the left listview.
  4. Choose ‘Add Network Printer’.
